Our accommodation makes an ideal base for trips throughout the area. It’s just a short trip to the beautiful Mother City of Cape Town with its attraction of Table Mountain and nearby V&A Waterfront. A must do for visitors is a tour round the peninsula – taking in the sights and sounds of Muizenberg, Kalk Bay with its fishing harbour, the Brass Bell, Olympia Cafe and interesting shops, then stopping at historic Simon’s Town, before travelling to see the penguins at Boulders. After spending some time with them, travel further down the peninsula to Cape Point.
This amazing nature reserve offers much to the visitor from a variety of flora and fauna to the spectacular views from the cliff-top lighthouse at the Cape of Good Hope. Leaving the nature reserve, travel through the villages of Scarborough, Kommetjie and Noordhoek with its beautiful 8Km long beach. Nearby Chapman’s Peak Drive gives you one of the worlds most scenic drives as it takes you to Hout Bay.
An ideal way to enjoy the flora is by taking a visit to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens and for those who appreciate fine wines, a trip to the Stellenbosch wine farms is a must do. Nearer at hand you can play golf at Clovelly, hike to world-famous Peers Cave or relax and enjoy our clean beach safe-guarded by a shark net and shark spotter on Elsie’s Peak – perhaps even spot visiting whales – and for the more active there are surfing, wind-surfing, kayaking, scuba diving, horse-riding, tennis and gym facilities close by.
The area also has many fine restaurants where you can enjoy the freshest of sea foods.
We are also ideally situated on the route of the Cape Argus Cycle Tour and the Two Oceans Marathon.
